Puppet?

I want to make a puppet, a hand puppet.
But not in the "muppets show" way...
I'm looking for a different kind of stuff, more like a Dark Crystal thing. A sort of animal, weird but cute.
I actually have tome sketches in progress, as soon as I have something a little more final I'll put them here, and after that the idea is to blog the progress from drawing to actual real hand puppet.
Let's see what happens.
