I'm starting to get spam in my comments, is that a good sign?
I don't see much movement in my blog, maybe 10 visits at day, as an average.
Looks like that's enough to attract some attention.
If that keeps happening, I'll have to activate the letters/numbers thingy.
What a pain.

The spam is quite possibly just because your post uses certain phrases the show up in google searches - - for example, the other day someone found a post where I'd mentioned a "vintage watch" and posted a comment pimping their vintage watch store. I'm pretty sure they just went to every post on the web they could find with that phrase and added a comment.
I don't think it has much to do with the amount of traffic you're getting.
You are most certainly right.
And a good factor to take in account for the future.
